Accounting Cleanup and Pivot During Pandemic
Disatisfied with their previous accountants, Aurum required a deep understanding of their gross profit margins across all product lines as they were in the process of pivoting their business strategy during the pandemic. Within 30 days, we completed an in depth analysis that allowed the company to adjust their pricing to hit profitability targets. Within 90 days, we completed a forecast and guidance on the launch of several new products including virtual services and products.
Accounting Clean Up & Best Practices
Mindful Snacks required a clean up of their balance sheet going back several years to legacy items that required review. We stepped in, completed the full clean up with 90 days and implemented best practices to ensure the accounting was accurate moving forward. This freed up time from the management team for them to focus on core operations to grow the business.
Cost Modelling
During the pandemic, Global Appetite experienced significant increases in supply chain costs eroding gross margin. They requested a deep dive into their supply chain costs which required an in depth analysis on a client by client and product by product level. We idenitifed a number of issues so the company was able to adjust their pricing and cost structure to maintain targeted profitiability.
Preparation for audit
Managing three car dealerships, UpAuto required help in preparation for their year end audit. The challenge was to generate reports through multiple systems that did not speak to each other and clean up of historical balance sheet items that were causing imbalances. Through an all hands on deck engagement that lasted over four months, we successfully prepared our client resulting in a clean audit for their fiscal year.
