TheoremOne designed and built a fully managed and autonomous high-performance database-as-a-service (DBaaS) across multi-cloud environments, for the leading cloud service provider Couchbase. During development, we enabled Couchbase to build their first Application Development team in-house, through hiring, training, and organizational change management.Developed in-house competencies to create sustained differentiationHired a geographically distributed team to balance expertise and costsEstablish an independent DevOps team of badged resources to develop, maintain, and operate DBaaSImplement DevOps principles - adopt Agile, CI/CD, and Test-driven methodologies
AT&T M2M leadership saw an opportunity to reduce compression in their embedded system connectivity margins through the development of developer-friendly tools and services that would enable startups and enterprises alike to rapidly, design, build and take to market next-generation connected device solutions. AT&T needed a partner that could take them on a journey from research and discovery to strategy definition and then to delivery of a complete network-grade globally scalable platform. Existing offerings were complex and targeted to solve only specific problems while requiring skillsets in multiple areas of functional expertise to use: network engineering, embedded systems engineering, hardware prototyping, and application layer development.Envisioning a Suite of Complimentary ProductsTogether we created a vision for a set of loosely coupled core products and services including a time-series data store, device management layer, data visualization engine, and notification service, that could be leveraged individually or together to build a complete IoT solution. This vision would eventually expand to include a set of vertical-specific AT&T device management and business intelligence services like AssetTrack.Real-Time Product TestingTo tap into a global community of software engineers, we deployed the first production release within 30 days of kickoff and tested it with a series of hackathons attended by thousands of developers over the first 6 months. The results allowed us to quickly adjust product roadmaps, feature mix, and platform capabilities.Integration With 42+ Unique Device PlatformsWe wrote a suite of client libraries for a wide range of hardware platforms and languages — both open source and from manufacturers including Intel, ARM, and Texas Instruments. These libraries accelerated the development of solutions for low-level, low-power embedded systems across applications such as automotive, supply chain, wellness, real estate, and asset tracking.
Following our Legacy System Modernization process, we rebuilt MISO’s existing partner-interconnection platform to implement quicker and more efficient operations and code systems. These updates to their existing codebase and modernization of other systems and processes allowed them to launch new code and make changes faster, leading to a substantial increase in production efficiency and system automation across the company.
Concord Music needed a modern system that integrated all aspects of record label operations. Implementing our Legacy System Modernization processes, we built a centralized repository for albums, tracks, merchandise, and works, along with accompanying metadata of artists, songwriters, and publishers. This new system (Repertoire Symphony) resulted in an intuitive, easy-to-use product for managing music.

Their expertise in design and commitment to our project’s success were evident throughout our partnership. We look forward to continuing our relationship as we grow and expand our platform and user base.
Project Description
Our partnership with TheoremOne was focused on transforming the oil and gas industry through cutting-edge MVP development. We collaborated on a three-phase project, starting with thorough diligence and scoping, moving on to backlog generation and prioritization, and culminating in the successful launch of the MVP. With a user-first approach and constant communication, we worked closely with a dedicated team of experts to bring our vision to life.
Pros
TheoremOne showcased exceptional thought-leadership in design, consistently adding value to our project. Their ability to quickly grasp our requirements and provide innovative solutions was truly impressive. We appreciated their proactive communication and commitment to meeting deadlines, making them an invaluable partner in our journey.
Cons
While challenges are inevitable in any project, particularly one with no pre-existing model, TheoremOne’s leadership and effective communication helped us overcome obstacles with minimal impact on our timeline. However, there were occasional hiccups that required swift resolution.
