They were assigned a team of 2-5 employees who worked on creating Java applications for deployment on both our GCP environment and on-prem servers. They also set up DevOps pipelines for quality maintenance and deployment, and added functionality to the applications using agile methodologies.

Our decision to engage with iScaleIT was driven by recommendations from sister companies and their expertise in Terraform. We outlined the project scope to enhance our core business infrastructure, security, and development processes. Throughout the project, we migrated components of our cloud-based infrastructure to a Terraform-managed environment, following best practices such as Multi AWS account split, Active Directory-integrated Single Sign On, and Continuous integration with self-hosted Gitlab.

iScaleIT’s team demonstrated a high level of expertise in working around security constraints and provided a robust solution. They were responsive to changes in timelines and their depth of knowledge was impressive. The coordination between our teams over Slack and email was effective.

One area for improvement could have been spending more time upfront considering the impact of our security and confidentiality constraints. Working around these constraints often took longer than expected, but ultimately resulted in a more secure solution. iScaleIT staff were unable to access any client data, which presented challenges unique to our project.
