During the production of Disney’s “Black Beauty,” director Ashley Avis became aware of the dire situation wild horses face in our country. Determined to make a difference, she established the Wild Beauty Foundation, a remarkable charity dedicated to rescuing wild horses from slaughter pipelines. The foundation achieves this noble goal by facilitating rescues and harnessing its influential celebrity connections to raise awareness. New Leaf Creative designed a visually captivating mock-up that seamlessly complemented Ashley Avis’ cinematography, providing the Indelible team with a solid foundation to tackle the technical aspects. Web development played a crucial role in this project, with several custom elements requiring special attention. For instance, we developed a script to extract metadata directly from articles for the “in the press” section, streamlining the posting process. Additionally, we implemented multiple schema types to optimize SEO and meticulously optimized all open graph data to maximize sharing potential. By combining our expertise in web development, SEO, and digital strategy, we supported the Wild Beauty Foundation in creating a compelling online presence.
