The company was established in 2017, its mission is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support the global operations of the Geopost network. Challenge: DPDgroup sought to establish their IT solutions subsidiary, and they needed a trusted partner to build a strong engineering team, leveraging the market’s wealth of skilled IT professionals while aligning with DPDgroup’s global vision and values.Solution:Winged IT implemented a dual strategy — a tailored recruitment process for direct hires and a flexible ‘Try & Hire’ model.Professionals were initially employed through Winged IT, allowing DPDgroup to evaluate their fit before making a permanent commitment. This approach mitigated hiring risks and ensured only suitable candidates were chosen for long-term roles.In parallel, a body leasing technique, also known as staff augmentation, was introduced. IT specialists, although officially Winged IT employees, worked directly under DPDgroup’s supervision, extending their existing team. Results: Winged IT has introduced more than 40 IT professionals to DPDgroup, filling roles in software engineering and testing, project management, business analysis, and data management. These professionals played vital roles in various IT and embedded solutions implemented globally by DPDgroup, using Agile methodologies from both in-house and remote settings.
