That is around 550 times a day. We often do that after touching various other objects and surfaces like – doorknobs, smartphones, keyboards, handshakes etc. This behavior makes us prone to infectious diseases caused by viruses and bacteria. Fashter: AI-Driven Fashion Visual SearchEmpowering shopping with Machine LearningTechnologies: Ruby on Rails, Machine Learning, Heroku Overview:Fashter, an innovative clothing search platform, integrates Machine Learning to revolutionize online shopping. It offers visually similar clothing suggestions, tailored to user preference, for a personalized shopping journey. Features:- User-Friendly Search: Users input desired items to initiate a targeted search.- Random Selection: For undecided users, a random selection of items inspires the shopping process.- Visual Similarity Search: Leveraging Machine Learning, the ‘Similar’ feature generates a collection of visually alike items.- Streamlined Shopping: Users can visit the retailer’s website directly for a seamless purchase. Building Journey:Fashter’s development aimed to enhance online shopping with visually-based searches. We used Ruby on Rails for efficient development, while Machine Learning handled visual recognition. Deployment was on Heroku for its reliable cloud services. Training a Machine Learning model with extensive clothing image datasets enabled the precise ‘Similar’ feature.

The application syncs with the Illuminati meter via Bluetooth, simplifying complex color science calculations and handling multiple BLE connections.Key features include:- Seamless Meter Connectivity: The application provides a gateway to measure various light types, impacting the quality and mood of a photograph.- Comprehensive Strobe Measurements: The application combines and displays exposure and color temperature readings for strobe lights, enabling effective lighting control.- Intelligent Color Detection and Correction: It aids in detecting and correcting color differences when shooting under mixed lighting conditions.- Multi-Meter Management: Users can connect the application to multiple Illuminati meters simultaneously for a uniformly lit scene.- Advanced Illuminance and Chromaticity Measurement: The application facilitates the measurement of light intensity in Lux and color in Chromaticity, helping photographers fine-tune their settings for optimal results. Swift and Native iOS were chosen for their performance and efficiency. Unique challenges like managing multiple BLE connections and performing complex color science calculations were met with custom solutions like connection handling. The process was organized into sprints, each culminating in a stable, feature-complete app release.
