Problem:Nu-Tech Frieght Brokers is a frieght brokerage company managing hundreds of bookings manually and keeping track of them in excel sheets and word documents. It resulted in too much workload for staff as well as errors, resulting in customer dis-satisfaction. Solution:Our team developed a web-based application, which allows clients to book shipment requests and track their shipments through various stages of delivery. There is also an Admin portal, which allows Nu-Tech staff to approve shipment requests, enter new shipments on behalf of clients, and update tracking status of shipments in progress. There is also a public website, which provides visitors with information on offered services with an option to submit a courier rate request, freight rate request, and account application. Results:After the implementation, errors in shipment bookings were completely eliminated and staff workload was reduced by 50%.
