Leaning into the popularity of interactive, Instagrammable, popup environments we designed a space that allowed consumers to step into the Star Wars universe. Six interactive “Instapods” inspired by the characters, moments and pop-culture surrounding the Star Wars universe, and a retail shop offering merchandise exclusive to the space, immersed consumers in Star Wars lore and allowed them to create customized moments that could be shared through their social media channels. Appearances by costumed actors and opportunities to win passes to the film’s red carpet premier were leveraged to draw consumers in and encourage repeat visits.

In support of the launch of Disney’s Finding Dory we developed an interactive “fish tank” that brough the characters from the film to fans. Consumers were able to see various characters from the film swim and could call on Hank the octopus to take a picture of them. The “fish tank” then dispensed a photo taken from the perspective of being in the tank shooting out.
Using 3D projection technology, we brought the beloved Pirates Of The Caribbean franchises to life in the waters of Toronto Harbour. With Toronto’s largest tall ship as our canvas, we thrilled onlookers who witnessed a faction of local pirates attack the defenceless vessel. As canon balls hit the hull the ship became engulfed in flames and the ship’s sails sprung to life with film footage from the upcoming Pirates Of The Caribbean release. Footage of the stunt was captured with drones and the resulting video content generated over a million views in its first 3-days.
Challenged to bring destruction and chaos to the shores of Lake Ontario we conceptualized and produced a multi-sensory installation complete with audio, video and animatronic elements. Trapped in a shipping container stolen from the side of a cargo ship, the Kraken peered out from inside the container and wailed in anger at consumers passing by. The crate itself expanded and contracted as the Kraken pushed to escape.
