One of the pleasures of being a video production company is being part of some remarkable campaigns. One recent encounter for us was the ANWB digital social campaign.⠀ANWB is the shortened version of the name Royal Dutch Touring Club. The Netherlands-based club supports different modes of transport. Apart from roadside assistance, the association provides test reports, travel services, insurance, repatriation from abroad, and information products.⠀ANWB mainly serves the mobility, tourism, and recreation sectors. In the digital social campaign we recently worked on in collaboration with the association, we assisted in getting the message that ANWB is a one-stop solution for any problem on holiday across.⠀At ORBIS Production, one of the important skills we pride ourselves on when it comes to social campaigns is the ability to focus attention on the most important parts of the message, target the right audience, and help clients measure the results of the campaign so we can determine what went right and what needs to be improved.⠀We start by working with the client to understand the campaign’s goals. We understand that attaining the goals depends on the resources available, the message to be transmitted, and the targeted audience. This is why we believe in the importance of understanding the audience demographics and different preferences.Read our case study at https://orbismagazine.com/anwb
When shooting a television commercial (TVC), the most important goal is to help the client tell a story in a way that the audience will enjoy. This is an art we at ORBIS Production have perfected over the years. We have been presented with a chance to showcase our expertise in the ongoing ANWB TVC production.⠀In this production, the main aim was to inform the audience that even though ANWB is well known for its roadside assistance, the association does much more than that. In this production, the brief was to help the client communicate the brand’s full scope. This involved collaborating with our partners to sharpen the brand strategy and develop a broader idea based on the fact that the association is here to help people.⠀Since its inception in 1883, helping people has been at the core of the ANWB’s DNA. This is the message that our team is helping ANWB to tell. The idea is that when you interact with the association, you should feel safe knowing that ANWB will always be there for you. To do this, we need to widen the brand so that audiences see past its functional aspect and begin associating it with its emotional role.⠀In its work with ANWB, our production team wants to tell the audience, whether they are on a camping trip in the wild, interacting with nature, enjoying a road trip with family, or enjoying a traditional holiday in an exotic location, that ANWB is always waiting to help.⠀When we assisted in crafting the ANWB campaign, the message we wanted to drive home was clear: no matter what happens or where you are, ANWB is here for you. The idea is that the audience should feel that even when they have made a mistake, they don’t have to endure discomfort for the entire holiday; they can call ANWB, which will do its best to salvage the situation.⠀From the beginning, the ORBIS Production team knew what it would take to make this campaign a success. Whatever we did, we wanted to ensure that the message was clear: ANWB is there for you when you go on vacation.
We all love holidays where we take off our shoes and let our hair down. They represent a time to relax and spend days doing what we like with loved ones. Holidays allow us to open our minds to new possibilities, new ways of living, and experiences that have the potential to change our worldview. However, there is no denying that, as machines, cars are not always predictable. This is why road assistance is a must-have for anyone considering a road trip. There is nothing as good as knowing that when you are stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, help is only a tap on your mobile phone. It gives you the peace of mind that you will remain safe when your car gets stuck. However, whether your experience on the roadside will be pleasant will depend on your roadside assistance service provider. You would want to go with a service that will get you back on the road as soon as possible. We recently had an opportunity to learn how roadside assistance works when we collaborated with ANWB Wegenwacht, the roadside assistance provider. ORBIS Production provided the expertise and local production crews that collaborated with ACI Italy. This experience taught us that a good roadside assistance service provider can solve around 90% of breakdowns on the spot. Also, if you are with a great company helping you when you are stuck on the side of the road, you’ll always be assured that the team will arrive with a battery suitable for your car, a universal spare wheel, motor oil, and the ability to sort things out if you got the wrong fuel in your car.
