Project Description

Dysnix was assigned to develop a Kubernetes-based infrastructure from scratch in a short time — 1 month — for a quick start of the project. Also, the Dysnix team had to deploy the development and production environments with 30 services on Kubernetes as well as develop and run a CI/CD system. During the project maintenance (support) period, tasks expanded and Dysnix had to launch 1 more environment, and the number of project services increased to 70.The Dysnix team’s task wasBuilding a high-available, scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure Kubernetes-based Infrastructure from scratchSetting up CI/CD systemInfrastructure cost optimization by 40-50 percentSolutionsBuilding a highly-available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes-based server infrastructureBuilding a cost-effective infrastructureFull Implementation of the Infrastructure as Code using TerraformFull deployment of services as Code using Helm and HelmfileFully automated CI/CD system using CloudBuildDesign and implementation of basic monitoring and alerting systems with custom business metricsDesign and implementation assistance of a custom solution to get high-available scalable Ethereum JSON-RPC&Websockets serviceValue delivered by DysnixContinuous mentoring and consultancy of the in-house teamEasy changes and support with Infrastructure as Code and Deployment as CodeFast and solid deployment of multiple environments with similar servicesTogether with the in-house team, Dysnix continues supporting the project with a high response time for events

The Dysnix team’s tasks were:- Dataset preparation- Application developmentQA and bug fixes within 2 milestones (see below)- Deployment of an application into the customer’s environment The demo was developed to minimize risks.Non-completed tasks and incorrect tools lead to:- Disruptions, delays, and errors in the operating room- Frustrations for the surgical team- Excess costs for hospitals- Suboptimal outcomes for patients. # SolutionsWe prepared a dataset and trained a model for surgical instrument detection, as well as developed an application using this model. The application can:- Detect all the surgical objects on a video- Classify all the detected objects- Track objects on the screen and produce events on changes # Value delivered by Dysnix- Preparation of a dataset and training of a model for surgical instrument detection, as well as the development of an application using this model- All the development stages were shown as demos weekly so that customers could see progress in the work made- Trained the in-house team on how to use the developed solutions- Preparation of the documentation for obtaining financinghttps://explorersurgical.com/

Building infrastructure for Techona

The Dysnix team’s task was- To design and create a new infrastructure from scratch using the most advanced technology stack- TCO optimization- To develop a technical solution to scale the platform easily- To achieve a high fault-tolerance of infrastructure and its security- To ensure early warning of possible technical problems # Solutions- Building a highly-available, secure, multizone, and scalable Kubernetes-based server infrastructure in GCP with private topology- Building a cost-effective infrastructureFull implementation of infrastructure as code using Terraform- Designing and implementation of monitoring and alerting systems with custom business metrics- Building a logs aggregation system with user interface and alerting # Value delivered by Dysnix- Building a highly-available, secure, multizone, and scalable server infrastructure for a gaming platform- All the development stages were shown as demos weekly so that customers could see progress in the work made- Effective project management from Dysnix based on the Agile / SCRUM methodologies, which allowed to complete the project on time- Full integration of the Dysnix team into the project and the company not as an outsourcer, but a single, in-house team, which is essential at that stage of the implementation of the solution- Trained the in-house team on how to use the developed solutions- Alongside them, the Dysnix team continues supporting the project

Cloud Consulting for Blockchain-ETL by D5

D5 (https://d5.ai/) is a group of data scientists and engineers structured as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). They help startups, corporations, and organizations accelerate their data science & engineering initiatives. The project Blockchain-ETL completed by D5 facilitates data science on blockchain data. Available in Google BigQuery.Business TaskThe infrastructure of the blockchain-ETL platform was necessarily upgraded in such a way to maximize the automation of the deployment and maintenance processes, to make the infrastructure scalable and fault-tolerant, even in the most unpredictable situations and as quick as possible (within a few minutes). The Dysnix team’s task was:To optimize the current project infrastructure, create and implement a list of recommendations to achieve the highest level of fault-toleranceTo describe the infrastructure as codeTCO optimization (based on the work results, we managed to save 70% of costs)To achieve a high fault-tolerance of infrastructure and its securityTo ensure early warning of possible technical problemsThe infrastructure was optimized following our recommendations. We described the infrastructure applying Terraform and Helmfile that allowed one to edit and add new components to it easily using the inheritance system, as well as quickly deploy new environments from scratch and effectively provide maintenance.Read more on site: https://dysnix.com/case-blockchain-etl/
