Adoption-Share
Challenge: Adoption-Share had always depended on the power and scalability of cloud computing to drive the complex algorithm working through its data. As mission success drove its operations to continually expand, they reached a point where they wanted to bring in experts to make sure that what they had already put in place was optimally configured and effectively utilizing all that Azure had to offer.Solution: Cloudforce audited their operations, paying specific attention to the four main areas of concern: (1) ensuring top performance of the Adoption-Share application; (2) taking advantage of the advanced system security features available in Azure; (3) implementing a CICD tool to automate future application code updates; (4) unlocking any cost savings through optimized efficiency. Based on findings and recommendations, their first priority was load-testing for performance of the Adoption-Share application. To ensure optimal access and functionality of its application, Cloudforce performed load testing to determine the baseline size for the website, along with auto-scaling rules to accommodate occasional surges in site traffc and prevent site crashes. Cloudforce tailored Azure security policy to their environment; locked mission-critical resources; and implemented multi-factor authentication for Azure users. For additional cost-effciencies and to improve site load speed and enhance user experience, Cloudforce set up the Microsoft CDN to help with handling of requests to the website and storage of copious amounts of static site content. Result: Adoption-Share now has a more reliable, scalable application. They can now operate with confidence that their application can respond to surges in website traffic and that the application will scale back for optimal cost efficiency when not pushed by high demand. They now also enjoy enhanced protections tailored for their exact needs, and has significantly less worry about human error in the deployment of their code.

Cloudforce was contracted to deliver the following tasks in an effort to remotely upgrade the Coast Guard Exchange’s current Azure AD Connect. · Stand up a new server with Windows Server OS (2016 or 2019) and the latest AD Connect application · Export configuration of the current AD Connect server · Import and set up AD Connect on the new server, in staging mode · Verify configuration of the new server and address and sync failures or errors · Investigate the best cutover time and schedule an appropriate maintenance window · Perform the cutover to the new server · Verify synchronization to Azure AD · Verify login and connectivity to necessary resources
Cloudforce reviewed the current configuration and made the necessary adjustments with ACDI/VOCA technical stakeholders. The following tasks were undertaken in support of this effort: Provided ad-hoc support for IntuneActed as Intune SMEAssisted with enrollment of production iOS, Android, and Windows endpoints Worked with staff on application packaging and policies in IntuneCloudforce validated the solution meets the organizational security and resiliency objectives, while ensuring ACDI/VOCA’s staff and leadership are empowered with an endpoint management solution that smoothly and securely meets their current needs and supports their long-term goals.
MarCom Group recently acquired another company and was looking to merge infrastructure. Following an introductory discussion with stakeholders from both companies, MarCom Group has requested Cloudforce assess the current technology infrastructure at both companies. Upon completing the assessment, Cloudforce developed a strategic migration plan for the creation of a new enterprise infrastructure that integrates their respective IT infrastructure, financial systems, software systems, and business processes.
