Project Description
Heywear is a company that provides high-quality eyewear and care in a convenient and affordable way. The space had to serve as a retail store and as a research lab, where every item could be rearranged to improve the customer experience. The solution was complete mobility and portability, which allowed the space to be drastically changed within an hour. Each new layout provides a completely different experience and helps to understand and improve the customer experience. Every detail: freestanding displays, drapery, or wall displays with mirrors can be interchanged. Velvet drapery, which is actually a partition, allows to create zoning and visually separate key areas: reception, showroom, fitting room, examination rooms, and staff lounge. For a short time, these areas can find a new place.

Brooklyn Townhouse
The Brooklyn Townhouse is a project about history finding new expression. A full overhaul created a space that took the place of a custom oak kitchen with a waterfall island whose forms recapture the 100-year history of elements that remained untouched.Each piece was restored by hand and recreated to correspond with the original architecture. A neutral palette has been complemented with distinctive statement pieces. Modern furniture and fixtures enhance the dialogue of the original elements; they come to the forefront, creating a contrast with the neutral basis of the entire space.
Chelsea Apartment
The Chelsea Apartment project was an opportunity to reinvent the inherent and core elements of the space in a new and distinctive way. The original brick was painted and partially restored to give a raw concrete look. Custom floor-to-ceiling shelving was built to create the focal point and space structure. Iconic furniture and fixtures supplemented the modern natural elements, creating an inviting and expansive environment, yet filled with detail and history to create the perfect combination.
Tribeca Apartment
The story within the walls of this Tribeca apartment was crafted using fluted plaster for a distinctive hand-grouted interior. Taking inspiration from the natural elements, the space combined a mix of stone, sand, clay, and wood, and highlighted the perfection and imperfection of the architecture and furniture.Hovering on the edge between refined and subtle as well as rough and rugged, this space creates a distinctive and welcoming place to live. The rough base and its dialogue with refined details became the basis of our concept and set the direction in shaping the style of the entire space.
