Starting in 2013, Kal Tire launched an initiative to create consistency across all the various Kal Tire store layouts and wanted a digital signage platform they could use to both promote in-house services and advertise their various partners and vendors, creating additional revenue streams. After completing a successful pilot program, Kal Tire chose 10net to supply hardware, software, electrical, full installation, managed services and support, and ongoing digital signage content management.10net’s digital signage solution for Kal Tire’s stores is based on two commercial displays, using custom aluminum mounting plates and brackets to create a compact and easily-serviced package. At stores with large outdoor street-facing LED signage, 10net’s solution is designed around a wireless bridge, extending the store’s network out to the curb (up to 200’). Allowing the sign’s equipment to remain fully managed and remotely supported via 10net’s cloud-based management platform.10net and Kal Tire were highly pleased with the outcome of these projects. So pleased that in 2019, 10net began an ambitious program to proactively replace the oldest digital signage installations across Canada with updated equipment. We are proud to be a trusted and ongoing partner to this day.
Triple O’s, owned by White Spot Limited (WSL), is a premium quick-service burger restaurant with 70 locations throughout Western Canada. White Spot Limited first approached 10net with a desire to convert the static menu boards found in their restaurants to digital menu boards, both in their drive-thrus and in-restaurant. This initiative was based on a requirement to come up with a solution that would work across their entire network of locations, at a price point that made sense at both the corporate and franchise level.10net designed and tested a hardware package selected the right cloud-based software and completed the installation of these restaurant menu boards across all 70 locations in British Columbia and Alberta. 10net also worked extensively with the Triple O creative agency’s team to craft menu board content that perfectly represented the Triple O menu offerings and their brand. To the customer, Triple O’s menu boards are bright, dynamic, flawlessly installed, and “Always On”. Behind the scenes, 10net manages the uptime on these mission-critical restaurant digital menu board systems, working with Triple O to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely manner (oftentimes before a problem is obvious to the customer!)From a 10net perspective, Triple O’s is a perfect client, and we take as much pride in supporting them as they do in serving their guests!
